Hello, this is Durmus Durukan and I was born in Konya. I was started my university education in Vienna then I have finished in Istanbul. I have got  bachelor degree on the subject of political science,public administration and sociology. Now I am a photographer where I live in Istanbul. Also I am free to go anywhere around the world for taking photo. I think this flexibility in terms of travelling give me an opportunity for being a documentary and travel photographer.

I have travelled to many European countries including France, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg and United Kingdom.

I lived in London for about one year which is the greatest excitement of my photographer journey.

I have been working in Iskenderiye publishing house as an editor, art director and photographer. The photography is not only a hobby for me it is way of life and my endless passion. It is a door where opened to art as well. I am capturing a moment with my camera. Thus, I have past, present and future easily. Because I am recording everything whatever happens with my camera. I think being a photographer is a way you see life and everything around you.
